Asus Aura concept smart phone

Asus Aura concept phone

The Asus Aura is possibly the iPhone killer of the future. Movable navigation module with navigation buttons is one of the unique features of the Asus Aura.

Asus Aura is just a concept at the moment so we can’t get our hands on it for a while but the main design elements of such devices will most likely be very similar: A thin body with one face being a bright, touch sensitive LCD display.

Lightest electric guitars ever - Yamaha A2 line

Yamaha RGX A2 Electric Guitar

An electric guitar and an electric bass guitar from Yamaha. Both share the same marvel of modern guitar technology. Alternative Internal Resonance (A.I.R) body is the lightest, most resonant design ever; light in weight but high in sustain!

An ultra lightweight wood core sandwiched between a hardwood top and a hardwood back, this combination allows the woods in the Yamaha A2 guitars to create a resonance and sustain that is greater than an average guitar. The outstanding resonance is enhanced by “Sound Tubes”, which connect the hardwoods with the softwood core across the instrument.

3-position knob on the Yamaha RGX A2 electric guitar controls the selection between 2 Yamaha Alnico soapbar humbuckers and the knob has blue & green lights. Not necessary but quite fancy in the dark.

Yamaha RBX4-A2 Electric Bass Guitar

The RBX4 A2 electric bass guitar is for players looking for high sustain without the heavy weight typically associated with bass guitars. The RBX4 A2 is equipped with two Yamaha single coil pickups.

Very solid, beautiful guitars for bargain prices.

Battery powered hand warmer - Sanyo Eneloop Kairo

Sanyo Kairo hand warmer

There was the chemically activated jelly-pack Chinese hand warmers which you had to put in hot water to get them ready for the next cold day. Sanyo Kairo is a more practical approach to warm your hands. Powered by an internal Lithium-ion rechargeable battery, allowing it to be recharged approximately 500 times. Kairo has an “On/Off” switch so you can use it only when you need it and save energy. That’s something you couldn’t do with the jelly-packs.

The PTC Heater integrated thermostat technology adjusts and stabilizes the temperature to prevent the device heating beyond the temperature you desire. The Eneloop Kairo can be adjusted to 2 settings; high at 43ºC for 5 hours and low at 41ºC for 6 hours. Charges up in about 5 hours with its own AC adapter and weights 85g.

Blu-Ray & HD DVD Combo Player - LG BH100

LG Blu-Ray & HD DVD Combo Player

LG Electronics is shipping the first and only player capable of playing both Blu-ray and HD DVD format discs on the market. LG BH100 ”The Super Multi Blue Player” is about $1200 and that’s the price of one Blu-ray player and one HD DVD player. Besides that, the unit is slower than a Blu-Ray-only unit and HD-DVD-only unit to start discs.

So? It looks like it’s still better to choose a winner for yourself and set your home theatre system up with the format you like the most.
